Basic Preemployment Check-up
Looking for a new job? You need to undergo a Preemployment Check-up as one of the requirements of the company. In Helal Medical we offer different pre-employment checkup packages.
What is Preemployment Check-up?
It is a medical check-up that include some laboratory tests and a physician checkup. This is usually requested as one of the requirements to join the job. It may include the following: blood tests, other laboratory tests and an X-ray. It is done to know your health status before joining the company.
The cost of pre employment medical exam in Helal Medical can range from 800 PHP to 2,000 PHP , depending on the requested tests by the company. Note that this price rate may change , so you need to inquire before coming to our clinic.
Basic Preemployment Check-up includes:
- CBC or complete blood count: It counts RCBCs and white Blood cells. It measures the hemoglobin and other blood criteria.
- Urinalysis to look for infections indicated by the presence of pus cells and/or bacteria.
- Routine stool examination for infestations by worms or presence of blood and other criteria.
- X-ray (usually chest chest) to show lung diseases like tuberculosis.
- Physical exam.
Additional tests for Preemployment Check-up:
- Drug Test (if requested)
Some companies request a drug test as part of your Preemployment Check-up. Contact the company to get a check list for the inclusions in the package. Drug test usually is not requested within the package. - Visual acuity (if requested): This is another exam maybe requested by the the company if necessary.
