According to a recent report, about COVID-19 vaccines’ latest updates worldwide, vaccine and booster doses by the World Health Organization (WHO) could result in a reduction in global demand and revenue for vaccines. The WHO revised its vaccine guidance after a meeting of the agency’s Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunisation (SAGE). The SAGE no longer recommends annual COVID-19 vaccine boosters for healthy adults under 60 years of age who have completed both a primary vaccine series and booster. [1]
Additionally, it does not recommend vaccinating healthy children aged six months and 17 years against COVID-19 at all. [2]
