As per DOH , the Philippines reported 2,651 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, 26 Feb , 2021.
It is considered one of the highest single-day new cases in more than 4 months. The total became 571,327 cases.
The day’s new cases is the highest since 17 Oct. 2020, when the DOH reported 2,673 new cases.
Now, the recoveries are 524,582 and fatalities are 12,247 , with 34,498 active infections, the time writing this report.

coronavirus deaths continue to rise with 46 new deaths, raising the toll to 12,247.
