Covid-19 Pandemic in the Arab countries and the Philippines


A question , now , asked by all Arab nationals, when will recording these big numbers every day stop? Big numbers are reported daily in the five countries most affected by the Covid-19 , Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, then Emirates, and Kuwait, arranged according to the number of cases.

Covid-19 in Egypt

1576 new cases were confirmed positive for Covid-19 , and 85 new deaths were recorded.

The Egyptian governorates that recorded the highest rates of infection with the Corona virus are “Cairo, Giza, and Qalyubia”, while the governorates of the “Red Sea, Matruh, and South Sinai” recorded the lowest rates of HIV infection. Thus, the total number in Egypt as of Monday, June 22, is 56,809 confirmed cases, and 15,133 cases have been cured, and that the total death toll reached 2,278 deaths.

According to the Egyptian news, a pharmacist was arrested in Menoufia Governorate, who claimed to discover a treatment for Corona virus, and distributed it to people at an amount of 500 pounds per package. He is currently being investigated.

News of Covid-19 in Saudi Arabia

On Monday, June 22, 2020, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that 3393 new infections with the newly created Corona virus – Covid-19 were recorded, bringing the total number of cases recorded since the inception of the Corona virus in Saudi Arabia to 16,1005 confirmed cases. The Saudi Ministry of Health also confirmed the recovery of 4,045 cases, bringing the total of those recovered to 105,175 cases. The number of deaths reached 1307 after recording 40 new deaths.

The authorities in Saudi Arabia announced allowing pilgrims this year for specific numbers of citizens or residents who wish to be inside Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia will not be accepted this year.

Covid-19 epidemic news in the Philippines


June 22 updates from the Philippine Ministry of Health: There are 630 people recently confirmed with Covid-19 (including 467 new cases and 163 late cases as identified by the Philippine Ministry of Health), bringing the total number to 30,682 confirmed cases. Another 250 people have recovered, so the total has now reached 8,143 cures. 8 people have died, and the death toll is now 1177.
