COVID-19 Update in the Philippines , 17 Aug 2020

The Department of Health (DOH) reports 3,314 new cases for today, August 17, 2020. Total cases in the Philippines reach 164,474, while the total number of active cases is 49,034. So far, the total number of recoveries is at 112,759 and total deaths is at 2,681.

Tomorrow Philippines will choose the decision on whether to extend modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila and other areas. COVID-19 cases in the country reached a total of 164,474 , of whom 112,759 have recovered.

The DOH also recorded 3,314 new COVID-19 cases as of Aug. 17 , and total of 164,474 cases. While new 18 deaths were added bringing the total to 2,681 deaths.
