Many persons need to go for covid-19 Test , for different purposes. Then you may need to know what the procedures and how much it will cost. Continue reading to know the answers from Helal Medical laboratory.

When should I schedule my testing?

Time of testing depends on the situation: you need to be tested because you are sick , or to comply with requirements ; for work, travel, or hotel check-in.

For customers with COVID-19 symptoms:
it is best to have your test immediately. If your symptoms are severe (fever , cough , sore throat, weakness, shortness of breath) , we highly recommend availing of our home service to lessen exposure to others. You and all persons in close contact with you , in your household or place of business must be tested.

For customers who want to present the COVID-19 test certificate as part of pre-employment requirements, please check with your employer the following:
1- Type of test required
2- The test result validity required
We shall assist you to schedule the test according to their requirement.

For customers who are intending to travel, the validity of the test result varies across destinations and airlines. Refer to the COVID-19 Travel Advisory of your desired travel destination and the requirements of your chosen airline.
Most destinations and airlines require 72 hours validity.

How fast are the results? What is the average waiting time?

RT-PCR Test result:
The result is released in 48 hours (The Regular RT-PCR test)
Or released in 24 hours (The Stat RT-PCR test)

The swab Antigen Test:
The average waiting time is 30 minutes.

The Rapid Antibody Test:
The average waiting time is 30 minutes.

How can I book an appointment before travel?

We accept both pre-booked appointments for COVID-19 testing, and on-the-day walk-in customers. Those who appears without pre-booked appointments will be served on a first-come-first-serve basis. Booking is preferred.

What is the procedure for passengers arriving in Manila?

Passengers arriving in Manila are required to undergo a swab test upon arrival. OFWs have the option to get tested by the Red Cross for free, while Non-OFWs have to get tested at a private testing center.

Arriving Passengers are required to stay at a Quarantine Hotel while waiting for their results. On average, passengers can receive their results in 48 hours after swabbing via email.

What are the required documents for RT-PCR Test?

The following documents:
1- your ID copy
2- Filled-up CIF Form
3- Filled-up Patient Consent Form
3- Physician Request Form

How can I pay?

We accept PayPal, Credit and Debit card, and Cash upon arrival at the testing facility for online transactions. While we accept cash in Philippine Peso (PhP) for Walk-In clients.

How will I get the test results?

Test results are sent to your email address you entered in the form. Make sure you have access to the email you will be providing us. Be sure to add an active cell phone to contact you.

What the cost for covid-19 test?

It depends on the type of test:
1- Covid-19 Rapid Swab Antigen Test: 2000 pesos , result after 30 mins.
2- Covid-19 Rapid Antibody Test: 1200 pesos , result after 30 mins.
3- Covid-19 RT-PCT Test – Regular: 4000 pesos , result after 48 mins.
4- Covid-19 RT-PCT Test – Regular: 6000 pesos , result after 24 mins.
